The fonds consists of incorporation documents, bylaws and manuals (1976-2001), minutes (1978-2002), a limited number of annual reports (1975-1999), brief histories (1975-2007), limited records of programming and other activities (1983-2006), press and publications (1975-2007), documents pertaining to The New Gallery's advocacy efforts in the greater artists' community (1978-2005), unaudited financial records (1976-2001), limited records detailing fundraising efforts (1983-2006), grant applications and information (1976-2005), documents regarding the various locations occupied by The New Gallery (1987-2007), records pertaining to staff, specifically Don Mabie and Sandra Vida, the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board (1986-2001), dealings with and information on various affiliated organizations, including but not limited to Dandelion, ANNPAC and EM/Media (1975-2008), an exceptionally limited number of photographs of the gallery [ca. 1987-1996], and video cassettes containing footage of media clips, gallery/exhibition views and performance art (1994-2007).
