The collection consists of photographs taken by G. Morris Taylor, F.A. Jackman and Joe Weiss of various roads, bridges and construction projects. Includes views of the construction of Pyramid Lake Rd (1915); widening of Mt Edith Cavell Rd (1935); Connaught Dr and the Yellowhead Highway (1941); repair and construction on the Icefields Parkway (1940's); construction of the garbage incinerator on Pyramid Lake Rd (1948); bridges (1940's); Maligne Lake Chalet (1931); Jasper townsite (1935); construction at the fish hatchery (1947); the bridge and road at Old Fort Point (nd) and the Rocky River diversion (1944 and 1946).

The collection consists of photographs pertaining to the filming of the motion picture "The Emperor Waltz" (1946). Includes views of Bing Crosby and Joan Fontain, stars of the movie. Also includes filming locations Spence's Dairy, Mt Edith Cavell Rd and Leach Lake. Views of the automobiles and dogs used in the movie. Views of the stars with various locals. Bing Crosby playing golf and baseball and at the sod turning for the Jasper Legion (1949).

The collection consists of photographs of the transfer of eastern brook trout to Wood Buffalo Park. The trout were raised in the Jasper fish hatchery. Also includes one view of William Cable collecting fish eggs at Medicine Lake.

The collection consists of photographs of the town of Fitzhugh, its residents and visitors. Includes views of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway engineers camp on Snapes Hill. Also includes views of the town as late as 1927 when it was known as Jasper. People included are: James Oliver Curwood, Emerson Hough, Flave George Jr., Margaret George, Mary George, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. George, Miss Easton (governess), Ida Burnett, B.B. Kelliher, W.T. Carey, Miss Minnie Davidson, Mrs. J. S. Robson, Joan Robson and T. R. Buckham, Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Whyte and their children, Frank Sayer, Fred Cochrane, Jim Fahey, Jim Jefferson and Mr. Davis.

The collection consists of photographs pertaining to the history of Jasper. Includes views of many of the residents as well as the activities they were involved in day to day; employment, schools, churches, hospital, sports, clubs and organizations. Also includes views of famous visitors to Jasper: King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (1939), Governor General Athlone and his wife Lady Athlone [1942-1943], Governor General Alexander and his wife (1947), Governor General Vincent Massey (1952), Prime Minister Louie St. Laurent [between 1948-1957] and Pierre Elliot Trudeau (1967-68). The collection also consists of photographs of various buildings in the Jasper town site and surrounding area (1900-1960). Included are: Jasper Rooms, Clint's Pony Barn, Astoria Hotel, Pyramid Hotel, Jasper Post Office, Otto's Store, Otto's Hall, Otto Brother's Garage, Athabasca Hotel, Jeffery Store, Jasper Legion, Jasper Motors, McDowell Store, Totem Service Station, Save-rite Grocery Store, Dr. O'Hagan's home and medical clinic, the Jasper schools, Spero's Hall, Jasper National Park Administration Building, Fred Brewster Building, Markell's barber shop, Pocahontas, Miette Hot Springs, Snapes Hill, YMCA camp, Jasper Park Lodge and various residences. The collection also contains views of fire fighting (1910-1930); Jasper National Park employees (1931 and 1940's); the internment camp at Old Fort Point (1916); the isolation hospital at Old Fort Point (1910's); early automobiles in JNP (1920's); various bridges including Miette, Cottonwood and the Athabsca; the rock quarry east of Jasper (1920's); a moose team pulling a wagon (1898) and the Anglican, United and Catholic churches and clergy. Included in the collection is a series of photographs relating to the railway: railroad accidents [1915-1930]; railroad station (1910-1940); the lobstick cut during railway surveying (1935-1960); Foley Welch & Stewart railroad construction depot (1913); and the Jasper rail yard, coal docks and water tower.

Included are views of: Tent City [191-?]; construction of the buildings (1922-1923); CNR officials in town for the opening [1922]; various guests (1920-1930); Canadian Armed Forces (1939-1945); construction camp (1928); construction of the golf course and golfing [1929]; employees [192-]; the main lodge prior to the fire [1923-1952]and various out-buildings.

The collection consists of photographs of the town of Lucerne, BC and it's residents. Many of the photographs pertain to the Canadian Northern Railway with views of; the rail yard, railroad station, roundhouse, water tower and employees. Also included are views of; the school, church groups, harvesting ice and baseball. The collection also consists of photos of the road west of Jasper which later became the Yellowhead Highway. One view is of the ruins of a Japanese Internment Camp.
