The fonds consists of photographs and textual records from five accessions. The photographs include: twenty-one negatives of the Alaska Highway from Whitehorse to Alaska including several shots of Whitehorse, ca. 1941 (82/59); nine negatives which depict miscellaneous scenes including a 1905 banquet for mining engineers, the cast in a play, and portraits of women. The negatives were copied from MacBride Museum originals by Loree Stewart in October 1979 for a Yukon Historical and Museums Association project (80/153); seven photographs of the construction of the Alaska Highway, 1942 (82/29); and two b&w photographs which depict Whitehorse and one Barley print of White Pass and Yukon Route Engine #3 (84/85B). The textual records include two bound guest registers from MacBride Museum, 1952-1955 and 1955-1960 (82/489); and one file containing a newspaper clipping on the Alaska Highway, 1942, a copy of a cartoon drawn by Jack Paxton while in the army, and a copy of a letter from Lt. Richard L. Neuberger to Hon. Anthony J. Dimond describing the opening ceremony of the Alaska Highway (82/29).
