The fonds consists of a list of banks in Edmonton from September 1891 to December 1938, including the names of managers and terms of office (Edmonton Clearing House 1939) and a programme from the First Annual Dinner of the Old Timers’ Association, 1894 (which would later become the Northern Alberta Pioneer & Old Timers’ Association).

The fonds consists of a diary belonging to Robert’s second wife, Margaret ‘Greta’ McPherson (Grant) Anderson and papers relating to the birth registration of their son Malcolm Robert Anderson (b 19 Apr 1920). There is also a poem written by Robert Thompson Anderson, Our Capital Town, about the city of Edmonton and apparently read at annual events in the fire department.

The photographs include the Anderson home and family members, Edmonton street scenes and events, and the Edmonton Fire Department and Health Department.

The fonds also includes Robert’s published works, The Old Timer and Other Poems (819 AND), Canadian Born and other Western Verse (819 AND 1913 c.3) and Troopers in France (819 AND 1932).

The fonds consists of programs and photographs of theatre and other cultural events, in many of which Richard and Inez MacDonald were part of the company, primarily as set designer and make-up artist, respectively. The records also include newspaper clippings, correspondence, and magazines relating to the life and career of Richard MacDonald and to the theatre and radio in Edmonton, notably the Edmonton Little Theatre and radio station CKUA.

Joseph Seely McCallum fonds

The fonds consists of records created by Joseph McCallum including correspondence, legal papers, bills and invoices relating to his businesses, particularly McCallum Agencies and McCallum Motors. The records offer a view of commerce during the late 1920s and early 1930s. A great deal of the correspondence reveals the effects of the Great Depression on business, being composed of demands for overdue payment, and letters to and from lawyers and collection agencies concerning outstanding debts.

The fonds consists of programmes for the school openings of L.Y. Cairns Vocation School and M.E. LaZerte Composite High School, and miscellaneous receipts in the name of Euclid N. Paradis, L’Amoureux, AB and Joseph Paradis, of St. Boniface, MB, and of Edmonton, AB.
The photographs include the ceremony for the Honourary Chief Factors of Fort Edmonton Park, 1974, honoring Christina McKnight, Richard Y. Secord and Merrill Wolf. There are also images of George as a young child to an adult and as Honorary Chief Factor at Fort Edmonton Park, hosting the Duke and Duchess of York.

Gordon Sinclair, titled "Gold Washing", depicts three miners working a grizzley on the river (gold mining).
