2021 Residential schools public memorial photographs

Series consists of photographs of the public memorials by members of the St. Albert community at the St. Albert Healing Garden when the unmarked graves at the Kamloops Residential School came to light in Canada in 2021. Since this event, many other unmarked graves have been identified in many residential schools across Canada.

12th Banff International String Quartet Competition

Series consists of material related to the 12th Banff International String Quartet Competition. It includes audio recordings of quartet performances, the score for the competition's imposed piece (String Quartet No. 1 by Zosha Di Castri), promotional material, and video recordings of the competing quartets performing in the Rolston Recital Hall.

It includes audio recordings of quartet performances, the score for the competition's imposed piece (String Quartet No. 3 by Vivian Fung), promotional material, and video recordings of the competing quartets.

Milo Library Archives

Milo Library Archives began as an informal repository for material given to Milo Municipal Library by area residents, and plans for the new library building included a designated Archives room. In 2010, prompted by concerns about long-term preservation and access, Milo Library Board member Christopher Northcott spearheaded plans to establish a formal archives. Following a 2011 site visit by the Archives Society of Alberta, a decision was made to digitize the material that had been received by the library. A presentation was made to the Milo Lions Club, who agreed to sponsor an Archivist Fellowship which allowed the library to hire a summer student to begin the digitization project. Milo Library Archives became an Institutional Member of the ASA in 2013, and the following year was able to hire an archives consultant to begin the formal processing and description of the holdings.

The series consists of the 2014 policy manual, as well as copies of correspondence regarding the Milo Lions Archives Fellowship.

10th Banff International String Quartet Competition

Series consists of material related to the the 10th Banff International String Quartet Competition. It includes audio recordings of quartet performances, the score for the competition's imposed piece (Commedia dell'arte by Ana Sokolovic), promotional material, a video recording from the competition's lecture series, as well as a documentary film about the 2010 competition.

Financial Records

This series contains 5.25 cm of financial records from the Bezanson Community Blooms. The financial records include month end statements from 2008-2014 consisting of end of month balance sheets, income statements, and chequing account statements. This series also consists of invoices and receipts, account information, transaction records, and correspondence about the transfer of funds between accounts.
