Series consists of annotated or inscribed scores from Zoltán Székely's collection. The compositions are predominately from the twentieth century, but date back to the Baroque period. The collection includes repertoire for solo violin performance as well as chamber music, particularly for string quartet. Some materials are violin method books.
The annotations consist of fingerings, bowings, and phrasing for string instruments, as well as handwritten insertions probably made for performance.
Most of the scores are published versions, but there are also some manuscripts or facsimile manuscripts. In particular, the series includes Székely's own works, some unpublished, as well as facsimile manuscripts for Bartók's second Violin Concerto and portions of Rhapsody's. There are also manuscripts and fascimiles for works by Castlenuovo-Tedesco, Hubay, Maconchy, and Villa-Lobos, among others.
