The sous-fonds consists of publications by the Government of Alberta, the municipal governments of Greenview and Valleyview, the Peace River Planning Commission, the South Peace Regional Planning Commission and various engineering firms.

The fonds consists of two scrapbooks of news clippings about the South Peace Regional Planning Commission; two atlases showing the regional planning commisssion boundaries; a 1972 document titled "Patterns for the Future" published by the Peace River Regional Planning Commission; a 1973 copy of "The Preliminary Regional Plan" published by the Peace River Regional Planning Commission; and copies of periodicals produced by the South Peace Regional Planning Commission: the Regional Review from 1983 to 1986, and Printed Matters from 1986-1989.

The fonds consists of a written history of U.G.G. in Sexsmith compiled by D.H. Fraser in 1985. It includes a list of the U.G.G. managers at Sexsmith from 1925 to 1985, a list of the Chairmen, Secretaries and other members who were involved with Local #423, and some newspaper articles regarding the opening of the 1964 elevator.

The fonds consists of 30 survey blueprints and town plans of Benville, Sexsmith, Laglace, Valhalla, and Buffalo Lakes; one 1928 Department of the Interior and four 1917-1922 Surveyor General maps of the Peace River District; one Prairie Farm Assistance Act map from 1955; and three blueprints of houses from the 1950s, one of them produced by the Veterans Land Act department. Maps are stamped with C.R. Gathercole, Real Estate & Insurance, Sexsmith, Alberta. Also included are copies of information from a underwriter's manual cover

The fonds consists of 19 color photographs of the inaugural run on the Alberta Resources Railway—the three hour trip on the final day of the conference. Photographs show the train, the scenery and the dignitaries who were passengers on this trip. A few of the photographs are of a welcoming banquet at St. Joe’s High School and ceremonies marking the opening of the railway.

The fonds consists of Howard McPherson's hand drawn maps of Belloy (1949-1952, Silverwood (1956-1958) and Prestville (1956-1958) and eight photographs of buildings including Belloy School and students.

The collection consists of 21 audio cassettes (recorded on a Sony TcM 5000 EV) containing interviews with twenty longtime residents and travelers in the Kakwa and Two Lakes area: Phil Comeau, Bob Neufeld, Norm Drysdale, Dorothy Comeau, Fred Comeau, Norman Eng, Dave Robertson, June Neufeld, Luther Kozowan, Rick Erlendson, Ben Foster, Pete McCullough, Mable Tennant, Suzy Moberly, Lois Lofstrom, Michael Ryan, Don Nelson, Dave Schenk, Norm Trepanier, and Doug Tennant. The interviewer is Jim Nelson.

The fonds consists of a collection of farm booklets and 1 cm of farm business receipts belonging to Olaf Kildal and Ralph Johnson, dated 1929 to 1963, from Alberta Wheat Pool at Sexsmith; C L Larson, General Merchant, La Glace; P.M. Haugen Garage, LaGlace; Buffalo Lake General Store; Buffalo Lake Service Station; Shannon & Son, Sexsmith; Sexsmith Garage Co; Mac Perkins Garage, Sexsmith; Maple Leaf Garage, LaGlace; Olson's Garage, LaGlace; E.G. Edey Equipment, Sexsmith; McKinnon Equipment, Grande Prairie; UFA Co-op; and other miscellaneous receipts. The booklets, dating from 1920-1963 include Norweigen immigration literature from Olaf Kildal; Ration Recipe cookbook from WW II, Wheat Board permits and Alberta Hail Insurance Board booklets from the early 1950s, and information on Credit Unions published by the Credit Union League of Alberta. There is also a 1959 Prairie Farm Assistance Act Crop Report, a poster for an Allis-Chalmers tractor, and a report card from Northfield School.

The fonds consists of letters from the Lubicon Lake Indian Nation enclosing copies of documents supporting their land claim: statements from government and Lubicon officials; letters to and from the same; supporting resolutions from other Native bands; newsclippings of articles, editorials, cartoons and reader comments which support their position. Also included are direct statements from the Lubicon Lake Indian Nation, the March 1990 report from the Human Rights Committee (sent May 10, 1990), and The Lubicon Settlement Commission of Review Final Report, issued in March of 1993.

The fonds consists of 92 photographs taken during the time Ray Menard worked as a mechanic and machinist on the construcion of the Alaska Highway between 1942-1943, including base camps, equipment and storage, winter road construction, summer construction, wrecks and spills, bridge work, and the Dawson Creek explosion. Included is a typed notation of photographs which have been identified and a newspaper article describing the Dawson Creek explosion and notes from an interview conducted by Linda White, his daughter.
