Commercial recordings of Southam's work

Subseries consists of recordings of performances of Southam's work, which were released commercially. Includes performances by Arraymusic, Eve Egoyan, Christina Petrowska Quilico, and others.

Early LPs recorded by Southam

Subseries consists of three LP records, consisting of ten tracks in total (five different compositions). These recordings may be early compositions by Ann Southam ("Created by Ann Southam" or "Ann Southam" are on several labels). Included in the subseries is a typed page by Tamara Bernstein outlining her findings regarding the discs.

Performance recordings of Southam's work

Subseries consists of recordings of performances of Ann Southam's work. Includes recordings from throughout Southam's career, and includes both audio-visual and audio-only recording. Most are private or personal recordings. Some of the performers include Eve Egoyan, Arraymusic, Allan Sutton, Christina Petrowska Quilico, and others.

Photographs of Ann Southam and colleagues

Subseries consists of photographic prints, mainly of Southam. Includes posed studio portraits, as well as publicity photos, and photos of dancers from a collaboration Southam was involved in.

Production recordings of Southam's work

Series consists of production recordings of performances by or of Southam's work. The series includes mainly reel to reel audio tapes. The series also includes some textual records relating to the playing back the tapes.

Recordings used by Southam in her work

Subseries consists of one item, which is a DVD consisting of images of work by Aiko Suzuki, may have been used in preparation of one of Southam's projects.

Scores annotated by Ann Southam

Subseries consists of scores (many of them from the "traditional repertoire") which were owned, and in some way, annotated by Ann Southam. Some of them may also include doodles/drawings by Southam.

Scores by women composers

Subseries consists of a group of scores collected by Southam of compositions by Canadian women composers. Some of the scores contain handwritten notes/annotations by Southam. It is possible (although not certain) that the scores may have had something to do with Southam's involvement with the Association; several of the scores are by members of the Association.

Slides

Subseries consists of slides owned by Southam. Some of them feature slides relating to mixed media presentations done by Southam, others are more personal in nature and depict Southam on holiday.
