The fonds consists of accused persons files (related to crimes such as arson, bank robbery, cattle rustling, horse stealing, juvenile delinquency, kidnapping, liquor traffic, murder, prostitution, seduction, and suicide), which were handled by Detective Alexander "Scotty" Lawrence of Lethbridge; criminal identification forms including descriptions and photographs of criminals; diaries and case evidence notebook of Thomas S. Symons, officer with the Brooks detachment; and records of Chief Detective J.D. Nicholson concerning the investigation and trial of Emilio Picariello and Florence Lassandro.

The fonds consists of material documenting the life of Muriel Dunn and includes copied images of photographs dating from 1913 to 1924 featuring the Reay family including images of the Reay family engaged in leisure activities such as skating, driving, and swimming. The fonds also contains images featuring Alberta Provincial Police, the North including horses, a parade and the APP detachment in Andrew.
