The fonds consists of nine sepia tone photographs taken by Ernest Keir during his 1898 trip to the Klondike Gold Fields in the Yukon. The photographs include images of Sheep Camp on the Chilkoot Pass, Bennett Lake, Lake Laberge, a flotilla of boats, groups of people enjoying the "Dawson Dome" on the longest day of the year, June 21st, the ruins left by a fire in Dawson City, log cabins along the south shore of Klondike River and three dogs carrying dog packs.
