The collection consists of photographs copied from originals collected by Bill Birchmore and Molly McCombe of their lives in Dawson. The photographs show Bill, other dredge men, White Pass & Yukon Route airplanes, mining camps, dredges, Dawson and the Klondike creeks.

The fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, and audio-visual material created and collected by Bill Ferguson during his career in the Department of Education, Government of Yukon. This material is in-process (2005/125). The fonds also includes 13 copy negs. and reference prints made from photographs loaned by the donor in 2002 (accession 2002/89). The photos depict First Nation elders and members of Yukon's heritage community at official functions in the 1970s. Identified people include: Angela Sidney, Julie Cruikshank, Linda Johnson, Gertie Tom, Antonia Jack, Joe Jack, and Johnny Johns.

The fonds consists of one hundred and sixty-nine b&w photographs copied from two photograph albums predominantly taken in the 1930s and 1940s. Most of the images are of planes that flew in and out of Whitehorse, Yukon. Some of the planes have been identified. There are also images of sternwheelers active along the river.

The fonds consists of photographs and films taken by Bill Hare during the mining booms and recessions in the Mayo, Keno and Elsa areas of the Yukon, ca. 1923-1937. Subject matter includes: views of Mayo's buildings, street scenes, the riverfront with sternwheelers moored and stacks of ore sacks to be loaded, fires in Mayo, hauling ore, mine sites and buildings, people and early airplanes. Bill Hare provided the commentary for his films in August 1976.

Bill Harris fonds

The fonds consists of 11 copy negatives and reference prints made from an original album on loan from the donor. The photographs document the experiences of the donor's father, Bill Harris, who worked as a welder machinist for Betchell-Price-Callahan on the Alcan Highway and was stationed at Northway, Alaska. Also included is a photocopied list of names and addresses of his companions.

The fonds consists of copy negs and prints of photographs taken by Bill Murry in Snag, Yukon during the construction of the weather station and airport in 1942. Includes views of the weather tower, administration buildings, barracks, airfield, float planes, dog team, and landscapes of the Snag area.

Bill Roozeboom collection

The collection consists of 31 black and white prints and accompanying negatives copied by Bill Roozeboom from an album he located in Vancouver. The images include: the reception of Governor General Minto's party which visited Dawson in 1900; Dawson street scenes; mining claims; people crossing the Klondike River; the Trail of '98; stampeders; scenes at Dyea, Lake Bennett, Whitehorse and Lake Laberge. Also images of Fort Selkirk and the Yukon Field Force. The majority of the photographs are by Larss & Duclos. The remainder are by Eric Hegg and Goetzman. The original album contained 40 photographs. Nine of the 40 were not copied as they duplicated images already held by the archives.

The fonds consists of home movies taken by Bill Thompson during trips in and out of the Yukon, and of events from his life in the Yukon, 1959-1968. Trips include flying Toronto to Thunder Bay, driving Whitehorse to Edmonton, flying over Greenland, Scotland, Niagara Falls, flying from Dawson City to Whitehorse, and Kluane Lake. There is footage of the construction of the Dempster Highway, and the Royal Visit to Whitehorse and Dawson City.
