Item is an audio cassette tape that features the sound of an elevator attendant speaking, sounds of doors opening and closing, drumming, ambient sounds from an arcade or mall, the sound of wind, and the sound of someone winding an audio or video cassette tape. Item is housed in a plastic sleeve with an image of a cat and another image of an elevator attendant.

File consists of edited video clips rendering the screen output of the computer while playing interactively with the original software. The takes are divided in sub-units. In short, this is a video documentation of the software/cd-rom art project. The material is on a MiniDV videocassette as well as on four optical discs consisting of uncompressed and compressed videos. There is also digital snapshots and navigation instructions for the project.

“Descendents of John Grimm and Margaret Everhart”

This file consists of a family history compiled by Ruth Lana Neilson which traces the Grimm family back as far as 1814 with the marriage of John Grim and Margaret Everhart. The book was originally published in Roseburg, Oregon and the inside caption reads; “From Ohio to Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, 1814 – 1993”. The book is spiral bound on includes family stories, family trees, and scanned newspaper clippings, photographs, and documents related to the Grim/Grimm families, as well as various off-shoots of the family. The book also includes a maiden name cross reference and additional hand-written insertions.
