Loutit family fonds

The fonds consists of 10 photograhs including Billy and Agatha's wedding, their children, the 1919 Fort McMurray Board of Trade, running the Grand Rapids, the SS Athabasca River in 1937, and the SS Northland Echo. There is also an audio cassette taped in 2003 of a conversation with Billy's daughter, Ellen Bishop; her daughter, Carol Yayechnick; and a nephew, William Loutit. The family were in Athabasca to assist in the first Billy Loutit Triathlon.

The fonds consists of photographs taken by members of the Mills family. The fonds consists of photographs of Athabasca, showing the 1913 fire and local buildings, and family photographs, including a photograph of the farm in Westlock. The artifacts are: a sugar bowl, which is the only thing that Mrs. Mills saved from the 1913 fire which destroyed their home, and a Bible which the Mills family presented to Athabasca United Church in honour of their son, Donald MacKenzie, born in Athabasca March 9, 1913.

The fonds consists of a 1905-1907 business ledger; 8 photographs including: two storey original Grand Union Hotel, 2 Gagnon houses, Isaie and Charlie Gagnon, and Dr. Boulanger; the first six chapters, epilogue and appendices of the book "One Hundred Years in the Athabasca Country, a story and a memory of the Isaie (Ike) Gagnon family"; photocopies of 1903-1911 land transactions in Athabasca Landing. In 2011 a three page article on the Isaie Gagnon family was written by grandson George Marrinier.

Goodwin family fonds

The fonds consists of materials created by the Edgar F. Goodwin family between 1875 and 1937. The fonds consists of family photographs, photographs of Athabasca Landing in 1906 to 1916, copies of wedding certificates and other family documents, and copies of excerpts from Edgar Goodwin's diary. The subjects of the Athabasca photographs include: the steamboat-Midnight Sun, york boats, CNR depot, Gagnon's sawmill, George Main, Mrs.King and Grace, Alix Williamson, Wm. R. Day and his moose team, and the Methodist Church. There is also a postcard sent from Spokane, WA by Romeo C. Farrell to Edgar Goodwin. Mr. Farrell was a partner in a grocery store with J.A.Daigneau.
