Fonds consists of the records created and maintained by the Grand Chapter of Alberta, Order of the Eastern Star and the Local Chapters it oversees.

    The fonds has been arranged into the following series based upon the activities of the Local Chapters and the Grand Chapter: 1. Local Chapter Administrative records series; 2. Local Chapter Membership series; 3. Local Chapter Petitions series; 4. Grand Chapter records series.

Red Deer and District Museum Society

Fonds consists of the administrative and operational records created, accumulated, and used by the Red Deer & District Museum Society during their activities programming and running the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery.

The types of records include administrative and organizational documents. This includes committee reports, minutes, policies, newsletters, correspondence, grant reports, annual reports and financial statements, architectural plans for the Museum building, Heritage Community Foundation information, transcripts, audio and video recordings, and permission agreements for projects (including Gay Life Project and International Women's Exchange Program / SUCH program, and the Oral History project), exhibit posters and photographs (including Century Books of Honour), staff photographs, awards certificates, and the World's Most Boring Postcard.

Records also include items accumulated in the course of museum activities, including Red Deer Public School annual education reports accumulated through the Historica School Fairs activities, the Friends of Sunnybrook Farm Museum society, the Red Deer Native Friendship Centre, Heritage Canada, Red Deer & District Archives, and CARMN.

PPCLI Colonels of the Regiment photo collection

The honorary title of Colonel of the Regiment (CoR) of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) was initiated by the Regimental Executive Committee (REC) in October 1958, with permission of Army Headquarters. The title was limited to serving or retired officers of PPCLI holding the rank of Colonel or higher. The CoR participated in parades and other ceremonies, and was an ex officio member of the REC. The founder of the Regiment, Brigadier-General A. Hamilton Gault, was the first to hold the title, however, he died in the same month as his appointment, November 1958. He was succeeded by Major-General Cameron Bethel Ware, who held the title from 1959 to 1977. Thereafter, Colonels of the Regiment were appointed for 3-year terms, which could be renewed once. The collection consists of formal portraits of Colonels of the Regiment, and photos of them in ceremonial and other situations. The photos are grouped into series by their names in consecutive order: Cameron Bethel Ware, George Grenville Brown, William Benjamin Scott Sutherland, Reginald Stuart Graham, Herbert Chelsey Pitts, C. William Hewson, A.J.G.D. de Chastelain, Robert I. Stewart, J.E.L. Gollner, Raymond R. Crabbe, W. Brian Vernon, Vincent W. Kennedy.

Millet United Church

The fonds consists of the business administrative records of the United Church of Millet including annual reports, minutes, financial records, bulletins, statistical reports, and directories. This fonds also includes copies of records that were used as a part of displays for major anniversary events including minutes, contracts, baptismal registries, and photographs from the first few decades of the church. There are several photograph albums documenting the history of the church and its events. This fonds also includes the administrative records of the Millet United Church Women Committee, including minutes, financial records and fundraising planning documents.

Wozniak family fonds

The fonds consists of a few personal papers belonging to Antoni and Maria Wozniak; the memoirs of Maria (Parachin) Wozniak written in Polish in 1958 and translated by her son, Matthew; Maria’s diary of a trip back to Poland in 1986; letters written home by the six Wozniak children; photographs of the family, the farm, and the community; stories written by Mathew about his life and memories; and a collection of 8 mm film taken by Mathew Wozniak during the 1960s and 70s.

The fonds contains some of BAJ Franklin's personal and family papers, subject files, manuscripts, newsletters, self-published pamphlets, files on individual Korean War veterans, scrapbooks, visual material, and military manuals compiled or collected by BAJ Franklin including photographs, nominal rolls, personal accounts, and news articles covering many diverse topics such as the Korean War, Korean Voluntary Service Medal, the First Canadian Parachute Battalion, Special Air Service Company, parachute training, training exercises, military discipline and dress, troopings and parades, the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Band, arms training, turbans, women in combat, base closures, and training accidents. Includes a pictorial history of the Special Air Service intended for publication, The Airborne Bridge. Includes papers of Pilot Officer N.R. Fraser (1943-1946), Flight Officer A. Franklin (1940-1941), and Pte Leslie A. White (ca. 1948).
