Trelle Family Farm

The sub-series consists of photographs of the Andrew Trelle family farm from 1915-1921 and the farm auction in 1921; and of the Herman Trelle family farm from 1921-1938. Photographs include the buildings on each farm site; farm labourers such as Erich anderson, Fred Hamm and John Gershman; and the machinery.

World Tour

The sub-series consists of photographs of Herman and Beatrice Trelle aboard ship and in many of the countries around the world. There are also two postcard albums with souvenirs postcards from the countries they visited and from across Canada, presumably collected on the way to their exhibitions in world fairs, or on their way to New York to start their world tour.

World War II

The sub-series consists of photographs of Herman and Kay Trelle in uniform during World War II, including platoon photographs from Kay's training days, his time in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and his time in the Amreican Air Force.

World Wheat King

The sub-series consists of photographs of publicity shots of the Trelles, their children, and their famous crops; visitors to the farm to look at how the Trelles were producing the best crops in the world; the Great Peace River Country Exhibition at a World Fair; and Herman and Beatrice with their collection of tropies. There are also two photographs of Herman Trelle receiving a buffalo coat from Trudel Furs Mfg. Ltd. in Edmonton.

Zimmerman Family

The sub-series consists of photographs of the Edward and Otto Zimmerman families who immigrated from South Dakota to Edmonton, and then on to Rolla, BC over the Edson Trail in 1912.
