Manuscripts (1935-1977) Series consists of various draft manuscripts of Majstrenko's works. IV. Personal material (1951-1981). Consists of travel and employment records. Includes an account of the 1933 famine in the Ukraine. IV. Published articles (1943-1983). Copies of Majstrenko's published work. V. Radio scripts (1954-1983) Consists of radio scripts that Majstrenko wrote or collaberated on. VI. Research Materials (1958-1976).

In his career as an archivist, professor, and researcher and write of scholarly history, Dr. Thomas' papers encompass a wide range of topics related to the historical development of Western Canada. The source material and research files in this fonds include a wealth of archival documents, bibliographies, imprint items, and research notes on subjects related to the exploration, settlement, and growth of western Canada, particularly the Prairie region. The records have been arranged in four series: Early Records; University of Alberta Records; Research and Publication Records; and Associations, Committees and Boards records. Within these broad series designations are sub-series that further organize the records. Dr. Thomas was for years the Alberta representative on the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, and his board-related records form a major part of the fourth series. The records are in excellent physical condition, and where possible, the file titles provided by L.H. Thoms are retained.

The fonds consists of these series. I Ephemera (1975- 000; predominant 1988-2000). Series consists of numerous awards, plaques and other ephemera given to Mrs. Hole as a result of her accomplishments as a businesswomen and university administrator. II Photographs and Graphic Materials (1965-2000; predominant 1990-2000). Consists of photographs and paintings of Mrs. Hole in a variety of settings. III Textual Materials and Correspondence (1992-1998). Consists of Mrs. Hole's daytimers (1992-1998) and letter of appointment to Privy Council. IV Videocassettes (1994-2000). Consists of 12 videocassettes of Mrs. Hole's appearances on various television stations as well as a videocassette of Mrs. Hole receiving the Order of Canada. V Audio cassettes (1997-1998). Series contains four audio cassettes of Mrs. Hole's appearances on several different radio shows.

Personal correspondence, documents relating to Mr. Hurtig's campaign in the 1972 federal election, personal material relating to Hurtig Publishers, The Canadian Encyclopedia, The Junior Encyclopedia of Canada, and drafts of his memoirs, At Twilight in the Country.
