Thomas (1980-1983) The series consists of correspondence with contributors and publishers, permissions to publish and typescript articles related to the publication of the Developing West. II. Collected Writings of Louis Riel (1975-1986)The series includes correspondence, financial statements, and the minutes of editorial conferences related to the publication of the Collected Writings of Louis Riel. III Correspndence (1973-1996) The series consists of both personal and departmental correspondence. IV History Department Council (1981-1986) Includes annual reports, budgets, correspondence and grant applications.V Research (1968-1996) The series consists of presentations, papers, and publication projects undertaken by Dr. Foster and various other authors. Also includes research funding records. VI School of Native Studies (1986-1988) The series consists of material relating to Dr. Foster's time as acting director of the School of Native Studies. VII Societies and conferences (ca.1980- ca. 1990) The series includes correspondence and other material relating to the Alberta Record Society and the Historical Society of Alberta. VIII Student files (ca. 1980-1996) The series consists of correspondence, notes, publications and other materials of some of Dr. Foster's graduate students. IX Metis Archives Project (1993-1995) The series consists of information on repositories' holdings of Metis archival materials. X University of Alberta Press (1983-1988) The series consists of materials relating to the University of Alberta Press. XI Western Canadiana Publications Project (1975-1989) The series consists of materials relating to the W.C.C.P.
