Fonds consists of the business records of the DeBolt Country Club and includes certificates of incorporation, minutes, financial records, membership lists, membership accounts, historical/biographical sketches, motion picture theatre permits, correspondence, agreements, promissory notes, receipts, notices, insurance policies, programmes, newspaper clippings, bylaws, and a photograph depicting the DeBolt Stampede. This fonds has been divided into the following series: DeBolt Country Club (1929-1970); DeBolt Curling Club (1946-1964).
DeBolt Curling Club
The fonds consists of photocopies, originally written in the 1970s, of the Ponich's diary, memoirs of Demetrius Metro Ponich, including immigration to Canada from the Ukraine and life on the family homestead, and an "Autobiographical and Historical Account of Settlement in the Pakan and Smoke Lake Areas" by Ponich, edited and transcribed by Isidore Goresky. The fonds also includes photographs, negatives, and audiodiscs, belonging to Ponich, that document the people and activities of the Pakan, and Smoky Lake, Alberta area dating from 1900 to 1930.
