Fonds consists of photocopied records dating circa (ca.) 1910-1973 pertaining to the Rodney family, particularly Lord and Lady Rodney, and includes newspaper clippings, historical/biographical sketches, a family tree, and photographs dating 1912-1923 of the Rodney family and their homestead, including buildings, agricultural machinery, livestock, and employees. Fonds also includes a copied oral history given by Lord and Lady Rodney.

The fonds also contains several newspapers and magazines which include Dorothy Dahlgren's writings. Additionally, the fonds includes poetry, plays and fiction written by Dorothy Dahlgren, a scrapbook of articles from MacLean's magazine dating from 1934 and a article about market gardening written by Herman Miller dating from 1937 collected by Dorothy Dahlgren. The fonds contains materials from 1934 to 1980.
