The fonds consists of these series: I. Administration (1977-1994). Series contains materials relating to the day-to-day operations of the Catalyst Theatre and includes minutes, correspondence, employee information, news clippings, committees and other materials. II. Audio/visual (1978-1995). Series consists of videocassettes, audio cassettes, film reels and audio discs primarily related to Catalyst Theatre productions. III. Awards (1984-1994). Series consists of plaques, mounted certificates and other awards given to Catalyst Theatre. IV. Design (1988-ca.1990). Includes a set design of David for Queen and a sketch of a parade handbook. V. Photographs and Negatives (1977-1995). Photographs, and negatives of Catalyst productions and day-to-day operations. VI. Photographs- slides (1977-1993). Slides of Catalyst productions and day-to-day operations. VII. Posters (1983-1995). Series consists of Catalyst Theatre Production Photos. VIII. Production Files (1977- 1996) Series consists of scripts, fund-raising documents, correspondence, contracts, evaluations and other materials related to Catalyst Theatre productions. IX. Reviews and Articles (1978-1995) Clippings of published reviews and articles concerning Catalyst and Catalyst Theatre Productions.

Series consists of founding documents, Board of Director's meeting minutes, financial statements, budgets, contracts, reports, business plans, and other materials related to the day to day operations of Chinook/ Fringe. B. Archives Binders (1980-1982). Contains materials archiving early Chinook productions. C. Design (1989). Series consists of set designs from various productions as well as ground plans for the Strathcona Bus Barns. Fringe (1982-1997) Series consists of budgets, correspondence, application forms, information sheets, posters, entry information files, publicity folders, and other materials related to the operation of Edmonton's Fringe Festival. E. Photographic Material (1993-1995) Consists of various photographs relating to the Fringe Festival. F. Production (1981-1997). Series consists of scripts, correspondence, promotional materials, publications and other materials relating to Chinook/ Fringe productions. H. School Tours (1978-1992). Contains evaluations and feedback from tours, correspondence, promotional materials, grants, brochures, and other materials related to school tours mounted by Chinook.

The fonds consists of materials compiled by the University of Alberta Association of Professors Emeriti for the publication of the book Echoes in the Halls which chronicled life at the University of Alberta. The monograph was completed as the focal point of the association's Millenium Project and published in 1999. Thus the fonds can be seen as consisting of one series: Echoes in the Halls (1954- 2000) Series consists of publications of participants, correspondence, marketing materials, project submissions and other materials related to the eventual publication of Echoes in the Halls.

B. Administration (1985-1993). Consists of folders on individual productions containing scripts, box office receipts, rehearsal notes and other materials for the Phoenix Theatre's Main Stage and Second Stage/ Downtown. The series also consists of proposed scripts and prompt scripts, as well as programs. C. Promotional Materials (1982-1997). Consists of press packages, publicity records, advertising schedules and other promotional materials for Phoenix Theatre productions. D. Reviews and Articles (1978-1996). Series consists of PR binders and clipping files about Phoenix Theatre Society and specific productions. E. Subscriptions (1986-1995). Consists of brochures, addresses, committee minutes, and campaign notes relating to increasing Phoenix Theatre's subscription rate. F. Technical Resources Files (ca.1980- ca. 1995). Consists of folders relating to carpentry, lighting, stage management, wardrobe, tools and equipment, props and other aspects necessary in the technical operation of a theatre. G. Restricted Files (1985-1996). Series consists of contracts and employee records relating to different productions as well as administrative contracts. H. Photographs (1980-1996). Consists of photographs, negatives and slides of productions. I. Posters (1982-1997). Consists of production posters. J. Design (1989-1996). Series consists of ground plans, set designs, lighting plans, blueprints, and other materials used in the design of Phoenix Theatre productions. K. Publicity -- Oversize (1992-1996). Consists of advertisements, artwork, and awards. L. Oversize- Miscellaneous (ca.1990). Series consists of a Phoenix Theatre Society flag. M. Audio/ Visual (1982-1996). Consists of reel to reel films, audio cassettes and videocassettes created by the Phoenix Theatre Society.
