The fonds consists of 65 col. slides: 32 of Athabasca's Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration's parade and 33 of the 1967 production of the play "The Athabasca Story" . Bert wrote a letter to the Athabasca Archives in Oct. 2000 talking about his businesses and other activities carried out in Athabasca. Included was information about the town's 50th anniversary celebrations specifically "The Athabasca Story" play and it's author, John Havard.

The fonds consists of photographs taken by members of the Mills family. The fonds consists of photographs of Athabasca, showing the 1913 fire and local buildings, and family photographs, including a photograph of the farm in Westlock. The artifacts are: a sugar bowl, which is the only thing that Mrs. Mills saved from the 1913 fire which destroyed their home, and a Bible which the Mills family presented to Athabasca United Church in honour of their son, Donald MacKenzie, born in Athabasca March 9, 1913.

There is also a 1918 certificate of land title for George Wilber Chase of Rodino, AB, and 2 scenic split bamboo scrolls that once had calendars attached advertising Colinton Lumber Company. A 23-page booklet photographed and published by Charles W. Mathers in 1901, entitled "A Souvenir from the North",is included in this fonds as well as a large drawing of the Devil's Canyon Gold Mine, dug by the Guenette family in 1918, near Colinton, AB. and Lily Band's 1935 Woman's Auxiliary card for St. Andrew's Anglican Church. The collection also includes a 1905 general catalogue for the John M. Smyth Co. in Chicago, material regarding the 1980 Alberta Acghievement Award given to the Hays, Trail North invitations, antique valentines, a history of St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Colinton, a WW11 Red Cross work book listing items made to send overseas, and a poem entitled "Flour Sack Underwear." There is a scrapbook of Colinton School, 1944-45, with photos and stories.

The fonds consists of the proceedings of the 13th session of Alberta Loyal Orange Lodges; a list of Orange Lodges in Alberta in 1919; newspaper articles and 1 sheet of information regarding the Strathcona Orange Lodge building. The artifact is the seal of the Midnight Sun Loyal Orange Lodge in Athabasca. The seal is affixed to a 20cm wooden handle.
