Fonds consists of these series: I Cinefilm ([1968-1988]). Includes "Nurses of the North" and George Bugnet's honorary degree (ca. 38 films and an additional 40.00 metres of multiple media material). II Office files ([1940-1988]). Includes annual reports [1946-1967], budget [1946-1977]; professional associations; correspondence; University of Alberta Radio Committee (later University Committee on Broadcasting) minutes (1940-1966), correspondence (1963-1966), and subcommittee records (1961-1966); yearly working papers (1961-1971); copyright literature and policy. III Photographs ([1968-1988]). Includes slides and prints documenting Department of Radio and Television activities; and stills used for productions (ca. 1950 images). IV Production files ([1929, 1958-1986]). Includes radio and television files for productions and proposed productions. These include scripts, correspondence, budgets, reports, clippings, publicity and other related program information. V Sound recordings ([1948-1988]). Includes radio interviews; panel broadcasts; ceremonies, including special convocations and lectures; programs produced for Department of Religious Studies, Department of English and other departments; choirs, and Western Board of Music broadcasts (ca. 24 discs and 1015 tapes; a descriptive inventory exists for 725 of these divided into series, some of which are Faculty of Extension, "University Concert Hall" and "Music at the University of Alberta"). VI Video recordings (1968-1988). Includes University special events: Universiade, convocation ceremonies, symposiums; "In Touch With U" television programs (ca. 1376 tapes; a descriptive inventory exists for 1206 of these, which is divided into three series: teaching and research, administrative offices and functions, and events).
