Athabasca Municipal Hospital District No. 13 fonds
The fonds consists of the 1917-1919 cash book and list of hospital board members, the 1952 agreement with the Sisters of Providence regarding the permanent transfer of the old hospital to the Order, the 1955 contract for building a ten room addition on the Athabasca Municipal Hospital Nurse's Residence, and a floor plan of the 1952 hospital. The artifact is the corporate seal for the Athabasca Municipal Hospital District No. 13. It was used from 1937 to 1984. On April 3, 1984 the Athabasca General and Auxiliary Hospital was officially opened. In 2011, the hospital celebrated 100 years of service to Athabasca with an Open House, program and bookmark.
