The fonds consists of original slides and photographs taken during Ms. Van Campen's trip to the Yukon in 1981, and Yukon Territorial Government (YTG) Tourism photographs. The slides include scenes of Carcross, historic photographs of the Klondike Gold Rush from Dedman's Photo Shop, Miles Canyon, the MV Schwatka, the log sky scraper in Whitehorse, and an unidentified historic site, possibly in British Columbia. The prints include images of the Sternwheeler Klondike in its present location at Rotary Peace Park, a view of Whitehorse from the sternwheeler, and the Matthew Watson General Store, Caribou Hotel, and sternwheeler Tutshi in Carcross. Miscellaneous subjects include the Venus Mine on the road to Skagway, the train station at Lake Bennett, a Skagway street scene and a Banff street scene. The Tourism photographs are images of can-can girls on a float during a Dawson City Discovery Day parade, the Palace Grand Theatre, the Dawson Daily News, Miles Canyon outside of Whitehorse and the St. Elias Mountains near Haines Junction.
