Donald Graham fonds

The fonds consists of handwritten, transcribed, and bound reminiscences written by Donald Graham recalling his life in Western Canada in the 1880s. The material discusses hunting, the Riel Rebellion, crime, farming, and wildlife. Donald Graham's grandson, Gordon Graham, transcribed the material.

The fonds consists of a certificate of registration of the College of Physicians and Surgeons for Dr. John Park dating from 1906 and a certificate of registration to the Medical Council of Canada for Dr. John Park. The fonds also includes photographs of pioneer doctors in Alberta including Dr. J Tofield, Dr. McInnes, Dr. J.B. Harrison, Dr. H.C. Wilson, Dr. Francis William Crang, Dr. E. Braithwaite, Dr. Whitelaw, Dr. Edgar Allin, Dr. Philip Roy, Dr. Jules Royal, Dr. Ferris, Dr. William Morrison McKay dating from the 1800s to 1900s, as well as a photograph of the members Canadian Medical Association in Banff in 1889. The fonds also includes newspaper clippings related to the coronations, abdications, and deaths of members of the royal family dating from 1919 to 1937.

The fonds consists of drafts of Dorothy Dahlgren's radio broadcasts for CKUA radio in Edmonton on a variety of subjects including the settlers and the settlement of Alberta, miscellaneous current affairs commentary, and various opinion pieces. The fonds also contains several newspapers and magazines which include Dorothy Dahlgren's writings. Additionally, the fonds includes poetry, plays and fiction written by Dorothy Dahlgren, a scrapbook of articles from MacLean's magazine dating from 1934 and a article about market gardening written by Herman Miller dating from 1937 collected by Dorothy Dahlgren. The fonds contains materials from 1934 to 1980.

The fonds consists of an unpublished history of the Anglican Diocese of Calgary written by David Carter in 1992; an unpublished history of the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton written by Reverend Randall Ivany in 1992; an unpublished history of the Anglican Diocese of Athabasca written by Derek Hoskin in 1992; a transcript of a taped interview with Most Reverend Walter F. Barfoot, Primate of Anglican Church of Canada conducted by David Carter in 1966; photographs of various Anglican churches and individuals in Alberta dating from 1905 to 1947; and three audiotapes of interviews conducting by David Carter in 1977 and 1978 documenting the history of the Athabasca Diocese from 1905 to 1992 with the Most Reverend Frederick W. Crabb, Bishop of Athabasca, and Bishop R.J. Pierce, Bishop of Athabasca. The fonds also includes an order of service for the induction of the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert's land dating from 1970.
