Oliver H. Johnson fonds

The fonds consists of the 1908-1909 homestead diary of Oliver H. Johnson. It provides a daily record of his activities as he broke land, built a house, barn, and other structures, interacted with his neighbours, including the Stones, Sinclairs, Fergusons, Bredins, Hardins, Smiths, Germaine, Arnold, Allie Brick, Mead & Grant, members of the Beaver First Nation, and others, and travelled back to Edmonton to join his family. The last few pages of the diary list recipes, drugs, groceries, dry goods, hardware, and accounts, some of which may date from his time as a storekeeper.

Women of Unifarm Beaverlodge Local 107 fonds

The fonds consists of records pertaining to the Beaverlodge Local of the Women of Unifarm from 1958-1980. They include minutes, financial records, correspondence, material from conventions, and pamphlets produced by the Women of Unifarm.

There was no discernable original order in the records when they arrived. Order was imposed in them by the archivist based on the content of the records.

Davis, Hodgson, Coulter fonds

Documents and photographs from the Davis, Hodgson and Coulter families. They include a parchment copy of an 1821 Last Will and Testament for John Davis, 1850 and 1856 probates of the will for John & Nancy Davis and their children; a 1902 Agreement for Sale of land and a 1916 lease by William Herbert Davis from St. Andrews, Manitoba; a 1930 mortgage for Robert J. Coulter at Bridgeview; three photographs of WW I soldiers from the Hodgson family, [25] photographs from St. Andrews, Manitoba; and two photographs of a WW II soldier.

Hermit Lake School History fonds

The fonds consists of a Hermit Lake School history book researched by Grace (Wishart) Stewart, a former teacher, when the school was moved to the museum. It was compiled by Ellen Craig and contains history of the school and community, lists of families and teachers, photographs, stories from former students, documents, news clippings, school census records (1937-1955) and a history of its becoming the pioneer school of Grande Prairie's Pioneer Museum in 1978.
An accrual, donated in 2013, contains original records compiled by Kay Dunlop after the 1978 reunion and added to a scrapbook by Ina Fee, who was also a student at Hermit Lake School. This scrapbook also contains news clippings related to the City of Grande Prairie, the Grande Prairie Museum, and people and history from the Grande Prairie area. There is also a circular list regarding an RCAF/WAAF Reunion held in Vancouver in 1976, which included several women from Grande Prairie.

The fonds consists of 65 family photographs of the Bill Leslie family, the family history book, "Leslie's of Hastings County, Ontario and Morrison's of P.E.I.", a 2009 Leslie Family Reunion edition with additional pages which includes a history of Bezanson and Glen Leslie areas, a scrapbook belonging to his mother, Dorothy Leslie, containing newsclippings of events in the seniors' center (1975-1977) and copies of individual news stories (1976-1978) of Jean Lozeron, Jim Johnson, J.B. Oliver, Rev Bob Wallace, Philip Fitzpatrick, Johnanna Haakstad, Jake Wiens and Paddy Croken.
