The fonds consists of the records of the National Farmers Union, DeBolt Local 830, which received its charter on July 23, 1970. Records include the original charter, the first Minute Book from 1970-1976, financial records from 1971-1987, and the report for the 1978 District 1 Convention.
The fonds consists of an unlined Norwegian School scribbler labeled "Tegnebog for Olav Vekvic," containing five pencil drawings signed by Olav and dated 1906, when he was 19 years old. Most of them are floral bouquets, but one is a portrait of an elderly man described as "Utenrikeminister Lavland". There is also a 1928 report from the Experimental Sub-Station at Beaverlodge, AB, and a 1920 letter from The Pellman Institute regarding a course of studies about which Olaf had enquired.
The fonds consists of 2 hand-written accounts books belonging to John Olson, who established Olson & Sons Meat Market in Sexsmith: a 1928 cash book for the meat market, and a notebook used by John Olson when attending the Lutheran College in 1912-1913. There is also one photograph of a 4-H Beef Steer purchased by Olsons ca. 1980.
The fonds consists of 20 photographs of some of the Pivert family and schools in the south Peace attended by the Pivert children the Pivert, paper artifacts and booklets relating to the activities of the Pivert family, newspaper articles and 3 blueprints about the Wapiti Coal Mines, a map of the County of Grande Prairie showing the location of the country schools, and some Greeting cards from the 1950s. There is also an article written by Paulette about her life-long interest in genealogy.
The fonds consists of posters, programs, special agri-show editions of the Peace Country Farmer, invitations and advertising place mats, pages of history and features of some of the agri-shows and a scrapbook of news clippings.
The fonds consists of a soldier’s service book and pay book for the Canadian Army for 1944-1945; and one account book with 15 pages of records of accounts payable and receivable. Accounts are related to homesteading and agriculture.
The fonds consists of the records of farm and personal records of the Stewart family, musical scores belonging to the Mattoon family, Phyllis' career as a teacher, farmer, county councillor and member of the Conservative Party; and materials preserved and collected from Bezanson School District 3302. The photographs are mostly of school classes and events.
