The subjects of the photographs include: Trail North Foundation June, 1978 trip down the Athabasca River, Kurt George (Dick) Naumann, Upper Wells, Herman Leicht, Lee Melsness, German Cabin, 1952 construction of the Athabasca Bridge, 1940's flood, Feb., 1966 Klondike Karavan trip, Friends of Athabasca University: Ken Chapman, Dr. Sam Smith, Doreen Leicht and MLA Frank Appleby, Egge's Stopping House (1906), York boat on Athabasca River (1906), Athabasca Landing (1906), boat "The Beaver", steamboat, Slave Lake (1912), and the Big Smoky River. The fonds consists of a photograph of Alphonse Senz (1915-1945) who was KIA in Germany, his last letters and death notification; and photographs of five houses in the Parkhurst District : Gosselin, Charles Lynch, the Demonstration Farm, Charles Gahall and Eugene Sale houses. The map is a 1922 contour and trail map of the Parkhurst District Range 21 and 22 W4M. There are also 9 photographs of Parkhurst School taken from c.1917 to 1947 and a photograph of railway ties piled at the siding in Athabasca.

The audio cassettes contain information on the Bissell family, logging operations and personnel.The artifact is a heart-shaped pottery ashtray, with brown and blue glaze, manufactured by Athabasca Clay Products.

The fonds consists of some of Jack Appleby's poetry; some is in his hand writing. The photographs are of the Athabasca ski jump hill taken about 1949. "Literary Works of Ted Appleby, " April 1951 includes poetry, essays and short stories; an assignment for teacher Janet Martin who taught in Athabasca in the 1940s.

The artifacts are:3 house keys, a school strap, 3 silk mantles for a kerosene lamp, 2 packages of Reckitt's bag blue dye, and embroidery scissors that came from Norway with Johanna Skare, Olga Huberdeau's mother.
