The Athabasca Clay Products collection at the Royal Alberta Museum began with a donation in 1986. In 2006 150 pieces of pottery were donated by the company's owners, Ed and Phyllis Polanski. In 2008 Carrie-Ann Lunde worked as an intern for the Royal Alberta Museum gathering information on the Athabasca Clay Products.

The fonds consists of Elizabeth Speers ration coupon book from WWII, the program for the 4th Annual Wall of Fame Dinner of the University of Alberta, Nov.1, 1988. Elizabeth's grandson, Larry Reginald Speers, was an inductee at that event. There is also a 1973 acrylic painting of the Athabasca Brick School by Viola (Silverthorn) Speers, William's wife and a 1977 acrylic painting, a Botticelli copy, by Bessie (Silverthorn) Speers, Roy's wife. Bessie also donated an Athabasca Clay Products serving bowl with lid, a butter paddle and a pipe.

The fonds consists of a book entitled: Sisters of Providence of St.Vincent de Paul by Sister Mary Electa in 1961; ideas for the redesign of the Lessard house floor plan to accommodate 23-30 students, photocopied pictures of the first group of girls at Rosary Academy in Sept.1948, and pictures of the Home for the Aged and Chronically Ill. There are also photographs of the sisters who served in these two capacities.
