Fonds consists of materials created or compiled by Ethel Switzer (nee Sharlow) and covers a time period from 1885-199-?. While some of the material relates to Ethel Switzer's personal life, much of the material was collected in order to document the history of Wetaskiwin. Fonds consists of family histories, miscellaneous information and photographs concerning activities and people of Wetaskiwin, correspondence, a binder of photographs and historical notes compiled for The Women's Institute, entitled "Looking at our Locality," family photographs, and personal correspondence and financial documents.
