Fonds consists of the following series: I Committee on Student Affairs (COSA) (1913-1966). Includes minutes; annual reports of the president of the Students' Union, 1922-1961. The President was Chair of the Committee (1913-1963), the Provost was secretary (1914-1963), then Chair (1963- 1967). Reporting to the Senate, the Committee had jurisdiction over all matters affecting students: academic, social, financial, athletic, disciplinary and health. II Council on Student Affairs (COSA) (1967-1976). Includes minutes; reports; correspondence. Under the authority of the General Faculties Council the Committee on Student Affairs was restructured as a guiding and coordinating Council with "immediate jurisdiction" and "general supervision" over all student affairs except discipline matters (The Universities Act, 1966). It was replaced by the Council on Student Services in 1977. III Council on Student Services (COSS) (1977-1987). Includes minutes; correspondence; reports; sub-committees on Fraternities, Alcohol Awareness, Placement/Career Counselling. Replaced COSA under the new Dean of Students in 1977.
