The fonds consists of 21 photographs and 13 negatives of G.P. Iron Works building, caterpillar brushing equipment, downtown Grande Prairie with Clarice and children, Bill and Pat, the Hudson Bay store fire, and Picture Perfect renovations. Also included are 3 newspaper articles referencing the history of the G.P. Iron Works and a menu cover from Clarice Paul's Ice Cream Shop, "Milky Way".

The fonds consists of material relating to the life and work of John and Irene Wallace and the Beaverlodge Nursery, dating from 1946 to 1993. The records include 2597 slides taken at variety of locations featuring nursery and horticultural activities and a wide variety of plant material, a video presentation prepared using several of the slides, a 1980 catalogue, and a file of various clippings and historical information about John Wallace, his work, and the Beaverlodge Nursery.

The fonds is divided into two series: Slide Collection, and Clippings and Historical Information.

North Western Telephone Company fonds

The fonds consists of a researched history of the North Western Telephone Company, which pre-dated the Alberta Government Telephone Co. in Grande Prairie, and three photographs: two of the first AGT office, and one of the AGT line workers and switchboard operators on the steps of the AGT office. The history was compiled by The System Historian for AGT in Edmonton and contains exercepts from three sources: the minutes and by-laws of the Rural Municipality of Bear Lake No. 740, articles from the Grande Prairie Herald, and the personal and business papers of Anson Wagar at the Provincial Archives.

Pioneer Broadcasting (CJXX) fonds

The fonds consists of financial documents (1981-1982), a newsclipping showing the five directors at the opening of radio station in 1979, a folder showing CJXX logo and slogan "Your Brand of Radio", and a memories document written by Pat Schneider. An accrual consists of scripts from the Heritage program delivered over radio from Dec.1979 until Dec. 1985. The scripts were written by Joan Yates from 1979-1981, by Heather Kirk in 1982 and 1983 and by Janice Epp in 1984 and 1985. Another series called "On This Day in 1958" sent on air in 1983 and was written by Heather Kirk. The material researched for the Heritage series was provided by the Isabel Campbell Archival Collection. A second accrual consists of a day's program log for CJXX from Wednesday, July 6, 1983.

Collection of photographs removed from a display, possibly created for the 25th anniversary of the City of Grande Prairie in 1983. The photographs were arranged mostly in date order, from the first business on the future site of Grande Prairie ca. 1907 to members of the Old Timers Association in 1963. The photographs were numbered in order of how they were arranged in the display, and that original order has been retained, along with the item descriptions which accompanied the photographs. Subjects include buildings, people and events associated with the history of Grande Prairie.

Spirit River Settlement Historical Society fonds

The fonds consists of records of the Spirit River Settlement Historical Society including executive records and records of their History Book Committee which consist of planning documents, financial records, minutes and correspondence, and original and/or edited copies of submissions to the Spirit River history book Chepi Sepe. The first sections of the Book Committee records include a history of the general region and the Spirit River Settlement area, the coming of settlers and the growth of agriculture, businesses, industries, municipal governments, the history of veterans of WWI and WWII, schools, churches, medical facilities, and cultural and recreational groups. The second main body of the records contains original and/or edited copies of over 630 family histories arranged in alphabetical order by surname.
