The fonds consists of letters from the Lubicon Lake Indian Nation enclosing copies of documents supporting their land claim: statements from government and Lubicon officials; letters to and from the same; supporting resolutions from other Native bands; newsclippings of articles, editorials, cartoons and reader comments which support their position. Also included are direct statements from the Lubicon Lake Indian Nation, the March 1990 report from the Human Rights Committee (sent May 10, 1990), and The Lubicon Settlement Commission of Review Final Report, issued in March of 1993.
The fonds consists of Lynn Holroyd’s research notes on pharmacies in the south Peace Country and Marian Holroyd’s collection of historical photographs from families in the County of Grande Prairie and from Paquin Photographs. The accrual consists of historical photographs, 5 Paquin photographs, a 1962 County Fair Prize List booklet, a booklet "Place Names of Alberta", 1928.
The fonds consists of 5 Daily Registers from 1920 and 1929-1933. These registers contain a school census with birth dates of pupils and names and addresses of parents or guardians, daily attendance records, attendance summaries, reports to the Department of Education on the number of readers required, signature of Inspector of Schools when he visited, and agreements between Teacher and Trustees. Not all forms are filled out in each register. The only Agreement between Trustees and Teacher completed is in the 1920 registers, from which the student attendance sheets and school census have been removed. Teachers are as follows: 1920 -- Katherine Roche, Clairmont; 1929-30 -- Esther Reid; and 1930-33 -- Emilie B. Payne.
The fonds consists of one minute book and one financial journal with the records of the club from its beginnings in 1931 to 1934, when the records cease, without a clear indication of the termination of the club.
The fonds consists of legal documents fom 1975-1999, club minutes from 1961-1998, financial records from 1976-1997 (financial records from 1961-1976 are included with minutes), and correspondence from 1974-1997. It also includes documents related to fundraising for and the building and maintenance of the community hall from 1978-1999, the building of a playground, hall activities from 1976-1997, and records from the Woking and District Board of Trade.
The fonds consists of: the, "Bylaws of Grande Prairie Municipal Hospital" and the "Medical Services Incorporated Manual"; the minutes, lab manual and opening speech for the Dobson Medical Clinic; letters regarding the dispersal of its equipment upon closure; a proposal for a private regional medical laboratory; the, "Directory of Community Services", published by the Family Services Association; and the, "Final Sketch Design Report", for the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie.
The fonds consists of one minute book containing minutes of the lodge’s weekly meetings from its founding on May 14, 1919 to March 18, 1924; and two Visitors and Members Registers from 1919-1927.
