Images include community and family events, industry and other commercial photography, as well as local scenery. These images are primarily of Medicine Hat and area.

The fonds consists of records relating to the Gass family. They are divided into four series: Ignatz and Katherine Gass, Thomas Gass, Gass family miscellaneous papers and Gass family photographs. There was no discernable order when the records arrived and an order was created by the archivist.

The fonds consists of records relating to the personal life and interests of Gerald V. Carveth. The records contain scrapbooks of newspaper articles assembled by Carveth on a variety of topics including family, pioneers, local events, sports, general news, and cancer; copies of the first issue of the Tattler publication; twelve photographs taken around the Grande Prairie area or of events in which local residents participated; and a certificate of appreciation from the Grande Prairie and District Old Timers' Association.

The fonds consists of four series: Scrapbooks, Collected publications, Photographs, and Certificates.

The fonds consists of records of Edna's Camrose Normal School "criticism of lesson" reports and other documents related to teacher training (1921-1958), a sample lesson plan (1922), two teaching certificates,(1923, 1958), superintendents' reports from the schools where she taught (1925-1926), correspondence from school authorities and from students' parents, (1923-1977), a biography by Gordon, the given by J.E. Birdsall in honour of Gordon, a speech given at his funeral and two issues of the Ford Farming magazine (Spring, Fall 1953), a Swanavon School opening program, a copy of a travel itinerary, her Christmas greetings letter (1989), and seven photographs related to her school history. Gordon's records include a Dept. of Agriculture letter asking him to serve as a director of the W.W. Albright Scholarship Fund, a news clipping showing a group of Canadians admiring his prize oat sample (1946-1953) and "The Book of Mom which Alice (Moyer) Lewis has written about growing up in Elmworth.

The fonds consists of planning material, correspondence, permission forms, handouts from the events, 1 news paper article, 3 audio cassettes and 2 – 8 mm video tape cassettes from the 2004 gathering. Participants whose stories were recorded were Shirley Plante, Valleyview; Kathleen Evans, Fairview; Henry McAllister, Hines Creek; Michael David, Valleyview; Donna Cummings, Fairview; and Frederick (Dave) Cummings, Fairview. Also included are the planning notes, correspondence, contacts lists for 2004 and 2005.

Grace Alice Longson fonds

The fonds consists of two diaries, one from 1919-1928 and one from 1936-1937; a letter from Burgess Longson while he was serving in WWII in Germany; 2 telegrams; and a program from an event at Eaton School, likely in Ohio in 1927 where she took the younger children for their schooling. The diaries decribe the weather, trips made for mail, goods, visits, meetings and daily work of keeping children warm, fed, clean and healthy. Wilfred and Lester are reported to be doing most of the outside work including looking after the animals. Summers were busy with field work, gardens, picking berries, cutting and hauling wood for firewood , hauling water and milking cows.
