Canor School and Flag Pole

During World War II, the Canadian Flag became an important symbol in all the little Country Schools. This photo shows the Union Jack on a hand-made flag pole, flying at Canor (Canadian-Norwegian) School. Canor School District was located east of LaGlace and north west of Sexsmith.
