The fonds consists of a copy of Lieutenant Colonel Robertson-Ross's diary while he surveyed the Canadian Northwest in 1872. The diary documents Col. Robertson-Ross's trip from Edmonton to Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, over a pass through the Rocky Mountains and to a location known as White Horse Creek in British Columbia.
