The fonds consists of a 1986 letter from J.G. Cote regarding the Canadian Northern Railway; material regarding the Northern Alberta Railways Company and the McKeen gasoline cars; a record of CNR yard leases in Athabasca from 1946 to 1986l; and photocopies of articles from The Hub Newspaper in Westlock, dated 1980-1990, concerning closing the rail line from Legal to Athabasca. One map shows the condensed plan and profile (rail bed elevations) of the Athabasca Subdivision of the Canadian National Railway from Morinville (mile 20.29) to Athabasca (mile 93.1) in 1976. It was originally drawn in 1938. A terrain map is part of it. The other map, dated 1959, shows only the rail bed elevations from Athabasca to NAR Junction in Edmonton.
