The CD was recorded in 1979 by the band "The Gemtones," which included Nadine Kiselyk, Art Thomson, Frank Bubel, Duane Workman, and Moe Breckenridge.

The fonds consists of annual programs and handbills for the final concerts; also included are the 1974, 1975, 1978, 1981, 1986-1990, 1993 annual financial statements. 20th and 35th Gala Concerts showcased former performers who have made a career in the arts. There are also several programs of the Alberta Music Festival Association annual Provincial Festivals and an "Anthology of Poetry", a collection of poems by local writers, sponsored by the Music Festival Association to celebrate Athabasca's 75th anniversary in 1986. 99.45: Creative Music: Original compositions by students of Lynne Hartley written for the creative music category of the Athabasca Music Festival 1996 - 98.
