The collection consists of records of the Anglican Church pertaining to the Athabasca area including synod reports, 1876-1928; historical notes and articles on local churches; correspondence and papers of Bishop Richard Young, correspondence of Bishop Sovereign, minutes of the All Saints Women's Auxiliary 1911-1942 and other local Anglican organizations; and a copy of Marian (Gill) Little's Anglican Church history"The Glorious Company". Names mentioned include Bishop William Day Reeve, Magnus Brown, Jim Cornwall, Leslie Wood, Fred H.Killick, Rev.William Grove White, Rev.Robert Little, Bishop Richard Young, Bishop Sovereign, Rev. A.C.Garrioch, Rev.George Holmes, Rev. Moxhay, Count Alfred Von Hammerstein, Gertrude (Reeve) Bannerman, and Eva Hasell of the Sunday School Caravan Mission. The fonds consists of materials created by the Athabasca Diocese of the Anglican Church between 1934 and 1986. The fonds consists of a Missionary Society Church of England in Canada leaflet on the Athabasca Diocese, a 27 page booklet celebrating the 75th anniversary of The Diocese of Athabaska in 1949, handbills celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Diocese (1974), Thanksgiving Service 1944, the 50th Anniversary of St. Andrews Church (1986), and the retirement dinner for Bishop James Pierce in 1974.

The fonds consists of 1890 and 1896 newspaper articles from Edmonton; a brief history of Athabasca Landing as the See of the Anglican Diocese of Athabasca; a 1948 Christmas card with photos of both Athabasca churches; an application form for the hostels; 1959-1960 and 1961-1962 photos of the Hostel gang; April, 1990 booklet "Setting aside moving on" commemorating All Saints' Anglican Church as it is demolished and a new church is built on the site; Feb.3, 1991 consecration of the new All Saints' Church; a 1997 program for the "Burning of the Mortgage"; a few sheets on the history of the church from 1990-2006; a short history of the stained glass window from St.Mark's Church, Plum Lake ; a brief history of St. Alban's Church, South Athabasca including the Women's Auxiliary; and a program of the 100th anniversary of the Parish of Athabasca, 1893-1993. The photographs include Plum Lake Church, and the 1960 All Saints' choir. The books include 1876 New Testament in Cree syllabics, pub. in England and other psalters and prayer books including the 1909 Presbyterian Book of Praise. Two Athabasca Clay Pottery vases, approx 10 x 10 cm and 9 x 13 cm in natural and black glazes.

The fonds consists of minutes of the Quarterly Official Board of Athabasca United Church and its predecessor, the Athabasca Methodist Church; 1907 letters written by Charles F. Hopkins re: building the Methodist Hall on Strathcona Street; specifications for the 1912 construction of the Methodist Church, provided by architect E.W.Morehouse; photocopies of letters, register entries and financial statements; 1912, 1979, 1985 membership lists (including a 1912 membership list for "Pine Creek Coloured"); 1985 handbook, 1976-1987 registers of baptisms, marriages and funerals; and 1976, 1977 Colinton United Church meetings. The photographs include the July 1, 1916 Sunday School picnic and a Ladies Aid gathering in c1912 which included Mrs. Blackwell, Mrs. T.H.Bole, Mrs. Curry, Mrs.R.H.DeLancey (Alice Guscott), Mrs. Douglas, Mrs. Fox, Mrs. Greer, Mrs. Elizabethh Guscott, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Jarvas, Mrs. James Minns (Isabel), Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Place, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. A.L.Sawle (Clara Thomson), Mrs. Vandusen (Mary); and Rev.Thomas H.Bole and family leaving Athabasca in 1913. There is a program for the 50th anniversary of the United Church of Canada and also for the rededication of the restored building in 1986. This program contains a history of the building and a 1986 membership list with photographs. There is also a 1984 art print of the Athabasca United Church originally sketched by Barbara Jones.

The four people interviewed were Jettie O. (Day) Willey (1887-1978), Rosanna (Goulet) Shank (1892-1981, Hugo Carlson (1890-1977) and Rev. Bruce Rathbone. The first three interviewees discussed teaching, power companies, MacLeod's Creamery, the 1913 fire, Isaie Gagnon, Smith and Wood sawmill, commercial fishing, raising foxes, livery stables and theatres.
Rev. Rathbone, rector of All Saints Anglican Church, discussed the history of the Anglican Church in Athabasca, the first printing press, the diocese bishops, the satellite churches in the area, the St. Mary's Hostel for Girls and the Bishop Young Memorial Boy's Hostel.

The fonds consists of photographs of Father Patrick Beaudry, Dr.Joseph Boulanger; the 1st St.Gabriel's Church and the Lafferty residence:both copied from the PAA collection; the 1934 program for Father Desmarais' golden jubilee in the priesthood (94.42); 7 photographs of the building of the new St.Gabriel's in 1953; a ca. 1870 map showing Catholic and Protestant missions and Hudson's Bay Company posts in the Canadian north-west and British Columbia; and 2 chalice covers from St.Bruno's Church. There is also the 1949 program for the Catholic Youth Organization's production of "My Beautiful Irish Rose". There is a list of Athabasca parish priests and missions from 1921 to 1981, including those serving the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary from 1952-1981.
