APEGGA Women's Club

This fonds consists of correspondence and reports relating to the organization of the club, records of officers of the club including the President (1988-2009), First Vice-President/Vice-president (1987-2009), Second Vice-president (1954-1999), Treasurer (1963-2009), Recording Secretary/Secretary (1959-2009), Corresponding Secretary/Newsletter Chairperson (1979-2009), Membership Chairperson (1958-2009), Groups Chairperson (1966-1996), Social Convenor (1975-2009). It also includes records of the Ladies' Afternoon Bridge Club Convenor (1982-2008), Mixed Bridge Club Convenor (1972, 1980-1992), Photography Convenor (1977-1999) and The Painter Group Convenor (n.d.).

There are photographs of executive members and events and a PowerPoint presentation of Club's history, 2009.

Meadowcroft fonds

This fonds consists of material collected and created by Reg Appleyard, Doug Matheson, Rev. Harry Meadows, Matheson and Company, and the staff of Meadowcroft Seniors’ Residence through their function of running the Meadowcroft corporations and providing quality affordable housing in Edmonton between 1969 and 2010. It contains legal documents, correspondence, reports, committee minutes, pamphlets, photos, plans and audiovisual material.

An attempt has been made to preserve the original order of the material. The files themselves have been arranged into 5 sous-fonds and various series. The sous-fonds are as follows:

Egge family fonds

The fonds consists of a hand written history of the Egge family, including moving from Edmonton to Halfway Lake on the Athabasca Trail, possibly partly written by Les Egge (the text is in two handwritings). Photographs include the Egge stopping house and other stopping houses on Athabasca Landing Trail, Egge farm, members of Egge extended family, freighters and other travellers, other individuals associated with the Athabasca Landing Trail district.

Ernest Scudamore George

The fonds consists of photocopied transcripts of letters and articles written by Ernest Scudamore George and the certificate of membership of E.S. George to the Northern Alberta Pioneers and Old-Timers Association, Dec. 31, 1926. It also includes a photocopied transcript of an article by Barbara Mary George, Ernest George’s mother. The photograph is a portrait of Ernest George, ca. 1962.
