The fonds consists of family history written by Joe Shoctor, an oral history interview with Joe Shoctor, a videotaped tribute to Joe prepared for the Citadel Theatre, text of speeches given by and about Joe. It also contains programs from dinners in Joe's honour, newspaper articles about Joe, two eulogies, photos of the family and other items pertaining to the family and the Edmonton Jewish community, the Beth Israel Synagogue, and the Citadel Theatre. Theatre (1942-2000). Beth Israel Synagogue (1995-2000). The series consists of correspondence and other materials relating to the building of the new synagogue building on Wolf Willow Road, opened in 2000, and the the history of the congregation. This series consists of materials relating to awards and honours given to Joe Shocotr.
