Series consists of scenic and stock photography taken by Victor Post in various locations in Canada, United States, and possibly elsewhere.

Octave Chevigny fonds

Fonds consist of photographs of various locations in St. Albert and people. Some of the locations and people include general store, Chevigny livery, Chapelle du Seminaire St. Albert, Father Larose, men in WWI uniforms, and a hockey team. Photographs also include portraits of Chevigny family members, Olivine St. Louis (née Chevigny) and family, Melina and George Sarrasin and family, Ringuette family, Livia Caouette, Isabel and Simon Hahnenberg, Matilda Bourassa, Hermine Paré, and Clovis Arcand.

Photographs predominately cover significant well known figures, but also some unidentified people. The photographs do not seem to a part of any obvious commission work done by Post.

Series consists of photographs taken during Post's vacations to Europe, Hawaii (2 trips), Disneyland, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Barbados, Bahamas, the Middle East, Rome, Vancouver and BC, Ottawa, and the Yukon.

Series consists of records pertaining to Victor Post's commercial business, Victor Post Photography, such as photographs of his studio and lab, his studio portraits, and promotional material.

Alberta Government commissions

Series consists of Victor Post's commission work for the Province of Alberta. His assignments include photographs of dignitaries, official visits and events. His work as official photographer for the Provincial Government include:

  • 1983 – Royal visit of The Prince and Princess of Wales and the Universiade Games
