Fonds consists of photographs of the sternwheeler Yukoner in dry-dock in the shipyards, the sternwheeler Klondike moored at the wharf in Whitehorse, Sam McGee's cabin, a canoe at the side of the cabin, a Royal Mail wagon, the log skyscraper and the Brockville home of Major James Walsh, the first Commissioner of the Yukon Territory.

The fonds consists of photographs of sternwheelers on the Yukon River including the sternwheeler Klondike; sternwheelers pushing barges; the Nasutlin, Keno and Casca moored at Whitehorse wharf; different views of the crew working on the boats, including guiding the boat through Five Finger Rapids; a view of the White Pass and Yukon Route (WP&YR) depot with a passenger car and the derrick in operation in the foreground; loading horses onto a sternwheeler; wood camps and crew loading wood and an old truck onto a sternwheeler; a view of Dawson City; the Mayo waterfront with stacked bags of ore, and horses; sternwheeler slough near Lake Laberge; and close-ups of the paddle wheel on a sternwheeler. Also included is a photograph of Lou Morton who was Alex Courquin's mentor. Textual records include a letter from Arnold Roos, Parks Canada Historian, to Mr. Courquin, a song "Yukon Memories" written by Jim Wylie, and a copy of Mr. Courquin's working papers with WP&YR.

The fonds consists of photographs of a mining scene on Eldorado Creek, a scow shooting the Whitehorse Rapids, sternwheelers on the Yukon River, Lake Laberge and in Miles Canyon, a loaded scow on the Yukon River, two images of dog teams pulling carts on a Whitehorse Street, and a view of Whitehorse from the bluffs.

The fonds consist of 24 -7 x 10cm b&w photographs taken with a "620" format camera, such as a Kodak Brownie, and contact printed. The photographs were glued on to black construction paper pages from a photograph album. The subject matter consists of the White Pass & Yukon Railway, scenic views of the Yukon River, including Five Finger Rapids, close views of the British Yukon Navigation Company gasoline powered launch, the "Loon", a dog team with a freighting style toboggan, and a log cabin and some bush camp scenes. There are also several views of what appears to be a salvage operation on the frozen Yukon River of the Sternwheeler Dawson which sunk in Rink Rapids Oct. 12, 1926.

The fonds consists of photographs of Atlin, B.C., the sternwheeler White Horse travelling upstream through Five Finger Rapids on the Yukon River, Miles Canyon, three men in a Peterborough canoe shooting Whitehorse Rapids, a customs house, Hootalinqua, a North West Mounted Police (NWMP) officer in uniform, log cabins at the mouth of Bonanza Creek, an unidentified glacier and a herd of caribou running down a hill near Dawson City. Postcards include images of tourists in Atlin, B.C., and views of Whitehorse, Dawson City, Juneau, Wrangell, and the White Pass and Yukon Route (WP&YR) rail line in the White Pass.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook containing 77 photographs and postcards, and travel cards of Anita Ronayne's trip up the Inside Passage and her stay in Whitehorse, Yukon. Images include views of Whitehorse and the surrounding area in summer and winter, a trip to Takhini Hot Springs and Champagne, Teslin Lake, Kluane Lake, and many of her friends and people that worked for the army are identified. Captions accompany most of the photographs. The majority of photographs were taken by Anita Ronayne. Also included are 7 photographs of Governor-General Lord Alexander paying a visit to Whitehorse in the summer of 1947.

Archie Smith fonds

The fonds consists of seven original diaries written by Archie Smith during his school years in Seattle, 1902-1908. The diaries, started when he was 14, describe his daily life while going to school, the relatives he visited in Tacoma, and his summers in Whitehorse, Yukon. Transcripts of the diaries were made by the Yukon Historical and Museums Association's (YHMA) Yukon Lifestyles Project.

The collection consists of application forms and a withdrawal card, a booklet containing the "Constitution of the Grand Camp, Arctic Brotherhood and Constitution and By-Laws of the Subordinate Camps", the "Closing Ode" song sheet, sheet music by Gideon Pepin and correspondence. The photographs capture the Arctic Brotherhood Hall in Skagway, Alaska and the indoor baseball team.

The collection consists of a series of photographs of the sternwheeler Keno prior to her last trip down the Yukon River in 1960. Images include the foredeck, crew loading wood, and interior shots of the boiler room, engine room, pilot house, galley, and dining room. The collection also contains photographs of a First Nation cemetery in Whitehorse, MacBride Museum, the Tarahne in dry dock in Atlin, and the Tutshi in dry dock at Carcross.
