The scrapbook (which includes 150 photographs and newspaper clippings) and individual photographs depicts images along the Alaska Highway during its construction and completion, as well as scenes of Yukon and Alaska. There are also interesting shots of Major Nixon and his friends at social events and in their Whitehorse barracks. The textual records include newspaper clippings collected by Nixon; Northwest Service Command (NWSC) correspondence, minutes, notes, memos and reports; and a description of the Alaska Highway, possibly a news release.
The fonds consists of negatives, slides, photographs and films shot by A.C. Lynn and Amy Zelmer including the Alberta Coal Branch, coal transportation, coal mines, the Edmonton Exhibition, the Castle Hotel fire (in Edmonton), a conference in Banff, the North Western Pulp and Power plant in Hinton, Fort McMurray, an archeological dig at Fort George, a painting class, Inuit Child Development, (produced by the International Communications Institute) and a film by Amy Zelmer (and Harold Alston) about Fort Mackay.
The fonds consists of photographs of the Anglican missions at Rampart House, Old Crow, Lapierre House, Shingle Point, and Herschel Island. Also included are shots of Rev. McCullum and congregations and the building of a new church at Old Crow, Yukon. The fonds also includes copies of three diaries belonging to Reverend Arthur Creighton McCullum covering the periods: January 1, 1928 to December 31, 1932; January 1, 1933 to December 29, 1937; and January 1, 1938 to January 7, 1943. The diaries cover Rev. McCullum's assignments at Old Crow, Rampart House, Mayo and Dawson City.
The fonds consists of A.E.'s teaching certificates and agreements, and homestead documents; photographs of the Willock and Cox families, and Pincher Creek area and personalities; recorded reminiscences of Mabel Cox Sykes about her family and nursing (1973); and A.E.'s extensive correspondence as Dominion Land sub-agent (1897- 1907) and as agent for the Calgary and Edmonton Land Company (1899-1911). Includes minutes of the Ancient Order of United Workmen, Castle View Lodge No. 43 (1903-1905). Also includes list of lands for sale on the Peigan reserve (1913).
The fonds consists of photographs of personalities, commerce, institutions, events and buildings in Lethbridge and area including photographs from Waterton Lakes and Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park. Includes a few copy negatives of photographs dating from 1895-1905, and miscellaneous advertiques and order forms.
