The fonds includes a 1927 Norweigian passport issued to Marie Bernfine Jorgensen Lunde, Olaf Lunde's 1941 National War Services Regulations (Recruits), Olaf Lunde's 1952 car insurance policy, the County of Grande Prairie's 1960 Auditor's Financial Statement and Annual Report of the Agricultural Service Board addressed to Jorenson O. Lunde, the 1961 United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited List of Members and Nomination Paper Sub-District "G-31", and a Christmas card and note sent in 1979 from Olaf to J. Lunde at LaGlace.

The fonds also includes thirteen photographs believed to be of or have been sent to the Lunde family, although some of them may be Postman family photographs, since the two collections were mixed together at one point. The photographs include school, family, and wedding portraits, a platoon photograph, and photographs of family members and houses.

The records have been separated from the Postman family records (see fonds 515) and arranged in chronological order by the Archivist.

This fonds contains two series. The Postcard series contains 131 blank postcards from World War I era. The Personal series contains 4 cm of textual records including personal correspondence, land title information, greeting cards and 14 photographs from Peace River and area.

The fonds consists of records of the Spirit River Settlement Historical Society including executive records and records of their History Book Committee which consist of planning documents, financial records, minutes and correspondence, and original and/or edited copies of submissions to the Spirit River history book Chepi Sepe. The first sections of the Book Committee records include a history of the general region and the Spirit River Settlement area, the coming of settlers and the growth of agriculture, businesses, industries, municipal governments, the history of veterans of WWI and WWII, schools, churches, medical facilities, and cultural and recreational groups. The second main body of the records contains original and/or edited copies of over 630 family histories arranged in alphabetical order by surname.

Includes a recorded interview with Violet May about her husband (1973); recording of a memorial program broadcast by CBC (1952); photographs of northern aviation and the Air Observer School; and films about postal service on the Mackenzie, the Yellowknife Royal Visit, Dawson City, Great Bear Lake region, and oil well drilling and construction in the North (ca. 1930-1950).
