Hillside Community Club fonds

The fonds includes minutes, correspondence, annual reports, and financial records of the Hillside Community Club. It includes the record book of the Wide Awake Junior United Farmers of Alberta, which was active in the Hillside district from 1924 to 1933. It includes one 1934 issue of The Hillside Times, a handwritten newspaper. It includes pages from the school register (1913-1914) of the Grand View (or Grandview) School District No. 941.

It includes Council Minutes (1904-1939, 1953-1957), By-Laws (1917-1956), voters' lists, general correspondence (predominantly 1927-1938)and correspondence relating to the Alberta Department of Municipal Affairs, annual financial statements, tax assessment rolls, cash books, cheque stubs, receipts, and invoices, and other records. It includes records of the Cemetery Board, the Recreation Board, and the Volunteer Fire Brigade and other town organizations. The fonds has been grouped into 28 series on the basis of their function.
