The series consists of stories written by Johnny Putters in 2006: The Ole Swimming Hole, A Weekend Adventure at the Wapiti, Getting the Christmas Tree, The Mayor's Acquaintance, and Anecdotes in Small Towns That Live On & On & On.
The fonds consists of 4 pages of memoirs, 3 CDs, and 73 photographs: 9 of Family and Friends, 26 of Grande Prairie and Area, and 38 of Growing up in the Forties and Fifties. One CD is a power point presentation of nostalgic Grande Prairie photographs produced for Grande Prairie ex-patriots reunion held in Edmonton on September 14, 2002. A second CD contains 134 photographs, 38 of which have been printed, borrowed from participants of a 2004 Grande Prairie Alumni reunion. A third CD includes 18 photographs, which have been printed.

This store was located on Grande Prairie's Main Street beside the Chinese Laundry which was west of the Bergman (Dick) Shoe Repair - called Victory Shoe Repair during the War because of prejudice to Dick (a German immigrant) during WW11.
