The fonds consists of microfilm copy of records attributed to Sam McDonald from the operation of his liquor and cigar business in Dawson City, Yukon. Included are ledgers, account books, I.O.U.s and other financial statements, as well as letters to McDonald from relatives, friends and business acquaintances.

The fonds consists of original photographs taken by Sandy Yeulet in the Whitehorse, Yukon area, ca. 1926-1930. Some of the scenes are of the dam just below Marsh Lake, the sternwheelers "Thistle" and "Gleaner", Whitehorse Rapids, a native gravesite, the Whitehorse Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) detachment and hockey games.

The fonds consists of photographs of the sternwheeler Keno being moved from Whitehorse to Dawson City, Yukon. Images include the sternwheelers Keno, Casca and possibly the Aksala, in drydock at the Whitehorse shipyards, a view of the launched Keno from across the river, and the Keno underway, turning and heading downriver.

The fonds consists of original slides and photographs taken during Ms. Van Campen's trip to the Yukon in 1981, and Yukon Territorial Government (YTG) Tourism photographs. The slides include scenes of Carcross, historic photographs of the Klondike Gold Rush from Dedman's Photo Shop, Miles Canyon, the MV Schwatka, the log sky scraper in Whitehorse, and an unidentified historic site, possibly in British Columbia. The prints include images of the Sternwheeler Klondike in its present location at Rotary Peace Park, a view of Whitehorse from the sternwheeler, and the Matthew Watson General Store, Caribou Hotel, and sternwheeler Tutshi in Carcross. Miscellaneous subjects include the Venus Mine on the road to Skagway, the train station at Lake Bennett, a Skagway street scene and a Banff street scene. The Tourism photographs are images of can-can girls on a float during a Dawson City Discovery Day parade, the Palace Grand Theatre, the Dawson Daily News, Miles Canyon outside of Whitehorse and the St. Elias Mountains near Haines Junction.

The fonds consists of photographs copied from the Birch's family album, and a photocopy of a letter from Katie Birch. The photographs are family shots taken in the Dawson City area, including Sidney and Katie's wedding portrait done by H.G. Goetzman in Dawson City, as well as views of the Star Roadhouses on 30 Below Bonanza, 76 Below Bonanza. The letter was written in 1899 to Katie's nephew, Colin Campbell, son of Mame McMullen Campbell. In the letter Katie refers to pictures in Murray Morgan's book "One Man's Alaska" and recounts what she remembered of these scenes and her time in the North.

The fonds consists of photographs of Sig Hansen and his family, people, communities, Rendezvous, woodcutting, mining and dredging, moving the sternwheelers, animals, scenery and miscellaneous. The textual records include correspondence between Sig Hansen and family and friends, his financial papers and his writing on different topics. The pastel drawings of Mr. Hansen were done by Mary Zabolothy and Fran Boyle.

The collection consists of photocopies of the "Register of Pupils of St. Mary's Public School" in Dawson City for the following years: 1949-1951 (grades 1-7); 1955-1957 (grades 1 and 2); 1955-1957 (grades 3-8); miscellaneous reports - Amounts Paid by Governments of Yukon Territory to St. Mary's School, Dawson, 1903-1913, 1951; "Ecole Ste. Marie, Dawson" - copy of Report made to Mother M. Melanie, Provincial of Sisters of St. Anne on Jan. 13, 1917. The collection also consists of photocopies of various reports on the Catholic Church in the Yukon, focusing mainly on Dawson City.

Sternwheelers Casca and Aksala, hotels, houses and the waterfront in Dawson City are also depicted.
