Consists of minutes plus related documents (1947-2015, incomplete); Society papers including constitutions, bylaws, and incorporations records; administration records including membership, financial reports, guest registers, and insurance; historical research including written biographies, 45 audio recordings and interviews of early pioneers (1950-1981), over 30 video interviews conducted as part of the Living History project (2011-2021) as well as subject files, student papers, and records of the Preservation and Research Committee; special projects such as Altaglass inventories and sales, centennial projects (including working towards a new museum building, and the short-lived Historic Resource Development Alliance; Publications including the Bulletin and Smoke Signals newsletters (1972-2008), as well as miscellaneous historical materials including Cummins Rural Directory maps, pamphlets, envelopes and other minor ephemera.

These include planning documents, a certificate from the Alberta Minister of Culture, invites, programs, and toasts.
Fonds consists of numerous published documents re: survey, water etc. including manuals and publications produced by and / or used by PFRA; working files re: various projects including reports, studies, maps, publications, notebooks, benchmark information re various projects undertaken by PFRA 346 plats of Alberta and Saskatchewan surveys; and images of early settlers arriving in the Rolling Hills, Hays area of Alberta and examples of soil drift and erosion in Saskatchewan.

Images include community and family events, industry and other commercial photography, as well as local scenery. These images are primarily of Medicine Hat and area.
Fonds consist of: 2 school workbooks having had belonged to Lavern Kurpjuweit and sister, Evelyn (1930); 2 written histories of Ferdinand Kurpjuweit's settlement in Seven Persons District and the Kurpjuweit family written by Lavern Kurpjuweit, 20 images accompany these histories.
