Two deal with Ann Southam: "Just Mucking Around: A Preliminary Study of Ann Southam's Minimalist Works", and "Refusing to Tow the Line: Ann Southam and Electronic Music in Canada 1950s-1960s". The third essay relates to multicultural and ethnic groups in Nova Scotia.
